After the first edition was an Encounters, we extended contents in 2006. The event became a Festival where more than 200 works of all the world were presented. During the three years of Optica several artists have visited the city, they came from places like:
New York, Detroit, London, San Francisco, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Paris, Berlin, Leipzig or Tokyo.
Optica has become in one of the more important references of the world of the video-art in Spain.
After the last edition, we received congratulations from many friends of several countries who had enjoyed the Festival on Internet.
It has given forces us to continue working with the intention of consolidating the Festival inside the art's environment dedicated to the video-art at world-wide level.
